Build a preliminary layout first
Compare equipment layouts and capacities without a login or contact information. When you are ready, send the results to Ideal Ag for confirmation and a project quote.
Feedline Layout CalculatorCalculate pans from valid 10-ft tube configurations, birds per pan, and line hardware.
Feedline Layout Calculator
Enter the house dimensions and either bird density or bird count. Then provide the pans per 10-ft section and either the planned number of feedlines or your birds-per-pan goal.
Your results
Line length is the house length minus 10 ft at each end. Pan counts and material footage use whole 10-ft tube sections. Enter the full-length line quantity, then select Split at center; the line field and results automatically double to show the half-length lines. Lines are shown evenly spaced across the house width. Results are preliminary; Ideal Ag will confirm the final layout and equipment requirements before quoting.
Watering Layout CalculatorCalculate line count, nipple quantity, birds per nipple, and split-line hardware.
Watering Layout Calculator
Enter the house dimensions and either bird density or bird count. Then provide the nipples per 10-ft section and either the planned number of waterlines or your birds-per-nipple goal.
Your results

Heating Capacity CalculatorEvaluate installed heat or size box, tube, or brooder systems by house section.
Heating Capacity Calculator
Include any whole-house box heaters, then select radiant tube heaters, dish brooders, or box heaters for the whole house or separately for the brood and remaining sections.
Your results
Box-heater output is treated as evenly distributed across the house. Whole heater quantities are rounded up in sizing mode. Results are preliminary; Ideal Ag will confirm heater selection, placement, controls, fuel supply, and final requirements before quoting.
Tunnel Ventilation CalculatorEstimate fan capacity, achieved air speed, inlet opening area, and inlet quantity.
Tunnel Ventilation Calculator
Enter the house cross-section and airflow information to estimate fan capacity, required inlet opening area, and inlet quantity for a desired air speed.
Your results
For a scissor truss, average height is calculated from the wall and center heights. Use each fan's published CFM at the expected operating pressure. Inlet sizing assumes a 6-in. cooling-pad system at 350 fpm, total inlet opening equal to 80% of pad area, and two-sided tunnel inlets. Enter the actual clear opening dimensions for the inlet being considered; 46 × 12 in. is only an example. Results are preliminary; Ideal Ag will confirm the final ventilation design.
Flex Auger Fill System CalculatorEstimate boots, drops, powerheads, elbows, and fill-system auger length.
Flex Auger Fill System Calculator
Enter the house width, bin count, and feedline count. Select twin-out unloaders when the system uses two parallel fill runs.
Your results
The preliminary length per run uses the rule of thumb: house width + 20 ft. Each run assumes two 45° elbows to turn toward the house, one to elevate, and one to level off. Tube sections round up to whole 10-ft sections. Actual routing, bin spacing, elevations, obstacles, auger model, and manufacturer limits must be field-verified before quoting.
